Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited is a joint venture between Atlas Group and Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan.

Construction of the factory started on April 17, 1993 and within a record time of 11 months, construction and installation of machinery was completed. The first car rolled off the assembly line on May 26, 1994.

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has opened doors to advanced Japanese cars manufacturing technology and expertise in Pakistan. Since 1994 when they entered this market have changed the landscape of automobile culture in the passenger cars. The Company introduced new models from time to time thus updating, among others, new technology for the Pakistani customers.

Honda Atlas has the distinction to introduce several technologies for the first time in Pakistan, such as: PGMF-I (Programmed fuel injection); VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control); Automatic Transmission; Crystal Lights; Oriel (Sun Roof with both tilt and slide functions); Four Wheel Disk Brakes, ABS Brakes (Anti-lock breaking system), G-Con (G-Force Control Technology), PROSMATEC Transmission (Progressive Shift Management Technology) and i-DSI engine Intelligence Dual Sequential Ignition) which has smooth acceleration and world top level fuel efficiency to name a few.
